Here I am!

Before I came to Northwest University, I was wondering why God wanted me to go to NU instead my top choice university? I was planning to go to another private university, but I have never finished my application! There was always something missing or problems that made me confused! how weird huh? Two years ago, my apartment mate, Joyce, told me that I should visit Northwest! I have never heard about this university before because I am not from Washington area. I am from INDONESIA..not even America..but I was wondering why Joyce always told me to visit Northwest allll the time? I was in community college at that time. The reason why I went to community college because I was waiting for my university's top choice to accept me, but it never happened. After a year, I have decided to visit NU. When I visit NU, there was something different that I could not find in any universities. I prayed to God about it and I applied to NU! everything goes sooo well and easier than I thought. I wanted my Pastor and Christian friend (Sylvie) to fill the references. and yay! I got accepted!!! I still prayed about it again because my Dad is really strict about university. I told my parents that I am going to Christian University and they allow me to go there!! :) When my dad visit NU, I was kinda scared if he gonna complained about the university. I prayed to God, "God, if NU the right college for me, let my dad say something good about it." and one thing that my dad said for the first time, "wow..it is beautiful and so green!" I was surprised!

It's been a year... I am in Sophmore year at Northwest University now. My journey at NU was the best journey I have ever had in my life. I learn more about Bible..(until now!) and my Bible classes are hard, but I learn a lot from the classes. I have met the most wonderful professors and friends! I have joined amazing crews! I cannot imagine if I am in my top choice university right now, I wont have this amazing adventure, I wont meet those wonderful people and there is a possibility where I cannot have those opportunities. I am so glad that God put me here. I know when I come to NU, its not just "university" where you learn academic things! but NU is the place where I can learn something from God! I have learned a lot from here!especially about missionary. I have learned something from academics and experiences. Chapel and Pursuit are my fav!

Thank you Jesus to put me in the right place. The place where I can talk about You and worship You whenever I wanted.

I want to carry Your call :) and I will obey You..
